Quantitative Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction: A primer for patients 

This booklet provides an overview of the quantitative Reverse Transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction (qRT-PCR) test. It includes a description of the qRT-PCR International Standardisation (IS) project within the context of the recently updated (2013) ELNet Recommendations and NCCN Treatment Guidelines for the treatment and management of Ph+CML based on molecular testing by qRT-PCRIS.

While this booklet goes into significant detail, it is suitable for all levels of CML understanding - the early sections assume no prior knowledge.

Generic Imatinib Leaflet

The introduction of generic imatinib in many countries can often leave patients confused. Patients often have many questions about switching from Glivec (Gleevec in the USA) - the branded form of imatinib - to a generic form. CML Support's new leaflet, also available in print form, aims to answer many of these questions.
