PCR@18 MONTHS
I will join you in the turtle crawl. I am on 80 dasatinib, and at the end of 1 year have finally dropped to 5% . three months ago it was 14%, 3 months before that 24%.
I am hoping to drop below d0 three months from now. I am old, well over 70, diagnosed in Dec 2017. Resistant to Imatinib. There is no reliable data for my age cohort on how CML progresses, or not. As long as I keep going down, with minimum side effects, I stay in the race. Best wishes. Gitel
Gitel - Do you have any blast cells showing up in your blood count report? (expressed as percentage).
I assume you are reporting PCR percentage (5% at one year). Do you have a FISH report which measures actual number of CML cells observed (expressed as a percentage). FISH report is the most diagnostic on CML progression or long term remission. Only after FISH becomes zero is PCR used exclusively to monitor remission.
From yesterday dose increase from 400 mg imatinib to 600 mg imatinib.after 15 days i'm going for IRMA TEST(imatinib resistant mutation analysis).
