6 month pcr

Diagnosis Pcr= 57% in August 2018.

Treatment 100 mg sprycel

After 1 month pcr= 17 IS

3 months = 0.19 IS, Fish= no phil detected

6 months = 0 .16 IS

I was a little surprised with my latest PCR as it only went down .19 to .16 in the last three months. Has any one else had this drastic decrease in getting to .1. Would this warrant further tested for mutations or medication change?

No I don't think this result warrants any change. Trend is still downward, and most of us experienced a plateau in the reduction in BCR ABL. See what the next two results are. There's a little bit of me wonders if your three month result was correct - that's a huge reduction from dx. Keep taking the pills and I absolutely expect you to be at 0.1% by 12 months. If you're not it may well not matter - it took me 18 months to get to MMR (before the 0.1% target at 12 months was in place). I am now 4 months into trying TFR.

thank you for the quick response that makes me feel better. Hope the TFR continues to go well.

Can working out before a blood draw raise your PCR? I am very active and ran a 5 k the morning of my draw.

I stayed at .2 to .7 at 6 thru 11 month and .02 at 12 month. Same or less since. Diagnosed 1/1/2016.
