Me again - I've posted below on natural cures for CML.
I've look ed at some stats recently. It seems as though only about 750 are diagnosed with CML in the UK per year and only about 10% of those have a blast crisis.
My late wife was in the 50-54 age group and I found that for for 2015 or 2016 there were only two recorded CML deaths for her gender and age. Is that correct? I do know that TKIs keep most people alive if the CML is diagnosed in time.
How do they record CML deaths? Her death certificate gives the main cause as acute gut GVHD and below that CML and stem cell transplant.
Would this show up as CML or GVHD or both?
We are friends with a couple who are both consultants (not cancer) and they didn't know!
