Symptoms of Pleural effusion

Hi all,

I have tightness on left lower abdomen since 4 days.

Worrying if it can be Pleural effusion. Please help me with symptoms of pleural effusion.

Apart from tightness/fullness i dont have any other symptoms.

I am on tasigna since 7 weeks.

Pls help.

Hi Sarah,

Had been to Onc on Friday. Went through Blood test, LFT, Ultrasound and chest x-ray.

Ulteasound showed an reduces spleen of 14 cm (22 cm @dx). No Pleural effusion, lever and pancreas functioning normally.

Ruling out all the condition we are assuming the tightness/pain could be because of hemolysis.

My wbc are low - 4700 and platelets @124.

I am on W & W(wait and watch) as i still have discomfort.
