Share with your doctor. You might try 50 mg and see what happens before switching to Tasigna.

Thanks Scuba printed it along with some info from Treys Blog, this group is set in there ways, using strict NCCN Guidelines, when I asked about dose reduction it was not received very well. I feel like making the trip to Houston and deal with people that only treat CML. Thank you for the info and have a good weekend

Your are not that far from MMR and the trend was all good until the May test. The trend reversal should be confirmed with another PCR in 4 - 6 weeks. If it continues to rise, then mutation testing should be done. If it goes back down, then you should stay the course. Switching TKI's before these steps is premature in my opinion.

Thank you cjmax, this group I see is by the book if you are not within the guidelines than it is time to try the next TKI. I have a friend at 16.0 PCR taking 100 mg Sprycel, after several months PCR would not go down Oncologist he was seeing had no idea what to do. He went to MD Anderson and was started on 50 mg Sprycel  PCR is in a downward trend. I will see what this Group/Oncologist has to say next week, I know they will want to switch to a different TKI, and than probably make the trip to Houston in June. Again thank you for the input
